As you log into the game you are presented with an interface layout. You can control all your empire here. To make it easier for you we will divide it into several fields and will explain comprehensively each one of them. The fields are, as follow:
Command menu
It is divided into 11 sub-menus:
Province number: - Shows you the current province you are in. - Moving the mouse cursor over it shows, the additional provinces’ buttons. - Pressing each one of them will lead to the respective province.
Build: - 2 options – Buildings and Research, each one will lead to respective screens where building or research can be started. - Clicking with the mouse button on each one of buildings and technologies brings forward additional information screen.
Hire: Workers and military units are hired here. - Moving the mouse cursor over it gives 3 options – Workers, Soldiers and Soldiers in training. - Hire -> Workers leads to the screen where villagers can be managed into different resource production. - Hire -> Soldiers leads to the screen where soldiers can be trained. Each type requires certain amount of resources and civil population, as well as time to be created. - Hire -> Soldiers in training shows the current soldiers ordered and the time remaining for them to be trained. - When the clock reaches 0, it is replaced by a button – Mobilize. Soldiers are ready to be deployed on the battlefield.
Command center: It is like some sort of military headquarters. - Moving the mouse cursor over it opens up 7 additional sub items – Army deployment, Army relocation, Attack, Colonize, Enemy movement, Missions in progress and Capitulate. - Command center -> Army deployment shows the current army deployment outside the Fortress, as well as the garrisoned troops. - Amount and the form of Fortress garrison can be changed. - Field army can be ordered to fight or not to fight when attacked. - Command center -> Army relocation allows moving troops from the current province to another one. - Command center -> Attack opens the screen for issuing an attack mission. - Command center -> Colonization allows additional province to be colonized. - Command center -> Enemy movement leads you to the screen where the advancing enemy army can be seen. - Command center -> Missions in progress tracks the current armies which are sent to mission. - Command center -> Capitulate grants the possibility for capitulation from a player for duration of 168 hours. During that time neither you nor him can attack each other.
Map: Displays comprehensive information about the world. - 2 options – Provinces and Political. - Map -> Provinces shows all current regions with graphical icons in each, symbolizing the amount of population and the Fortress. - If the province’s Fortress is destroyed, its icon will be changed accordingly. - If the Province is pillaged, a burning cross will be displayed. - All provinces currently claimed are framed in red and their numbers are in red color also. - Map -> Political map - reveals all other players that currently inhabit the realm, their positions and their nationality in form of flags. Can be zoomed in and out. - Moving the mouse cursor over a player’s flag will display his name on the left, in the Player field.
Intelligence: 3 options are presented here – Espionage, Counter-Espionage and Missions in progress. - Intelligence -> Espionage allows spies to be sent on missions. - Intelligence -> Mission in progress tracks the spies sent on a mission. - When the spy arrives at its destination a button called “Infiltrate” appears. - Pressing this button will try to infiltrate the spy. - Intelligence -> Counter-Espionage brings up a screen where an infiltrated foreign spies can be seen. From here you can capture and execute them.
Trading: It is divided into 6 buttons: Trade, Moving resources, Bonus resources, Dice gambling, Red and Black Gambling and Bank. - Trading -> Trade - resources can be exchanged for gold on the market here. Note: You can trade up to 500 000 resource when you reach Trade 6! - Trading -> Moving resources leads to the screen where resources can be transported. - Trading -> Dice gambling” and “Trading -> Red and Black Gambling” allows for some gamble to be played with the innkeeper. - Trading -> Bank - loans can be taken here.
Reports: - Gives detailed statistic information about everything in the empire. Starting from your Province bonuses passing through Empire wide ones, Buildings and Researches and Army.
Statistics: - It is divided into 7 buttons: Players, Player rankings, Alliance rankings, Alliances, Wars, Players, capitulated from you and Hours online. - Statistics -> Players opens a screen with detailed information about all the players. - Statistics -> Player rankings displays the current ranking in the realm, based on net worth points by default. - Green and red arrows show the movement of the player in this ranking for the last 48 hours. - Moving the mouse cursor over a player’s military rank column will display a tooltip, revealing his battle experience. - Statistics -> Alliance rankings gives information about the best team players in the realm. - Statistics -> Alliances and Alliance wars will be explained in detail in Diplomacy section. - Statistics -> Alliances displays all the Alliances that are currently formed in the realm. - Statistics -> Players capitulated from you is the place where all the players that are currently capitulated from you can be seen. - Statistics -> Hours online displays the time a player has been active. - Note: In some versions of the game every player must have 6 consecutive hours of offline time on every 24 hours. Every hour that a user has logged or has had an activity in the game is counted as used. - Disobeying that rule leads to 10 hours account locking.
Alliance: “Alliance -> Create Alliance - the name says it. “Alliance -> ……” shows all the Alliance members. “Alliance -> …….” leads to Alliance operations. Different functions are available for different members here. More information about those functions can be found in Diplomacy section. “Alliance -> Alliance Enemies and Alliance battles” gives information about other Alliances relations, as well as all the members' battles. “Alliance -> War income” allows a war income to be received when the war is won. “Alliance -> Wars” shows all the wars Alliance has declared or has been declared upon. “Alliance -> ……..” - Alliances members online can be seen here. “Alliance -> ……..” allows mass message to be sent to all members.
News: - All news can be seen here. - All Personal messages can be seen here. - All military reports can be seen here. - All captured spies can be seen here. - All reports from armies returned home can be seen here.

Info: Contains 9 buttons. “Info -> Technology tree” - Different prerequisites in buildings and researches can be seen here. “Info -> Public chat” leads to IO integrated chat program. - Common channel can be entered or a new one can be created. “Info -> News” All the current news can be seen. “Info -> Siege battle calculator” allows the desktop version of our battle server to be downloaded where different battles can be calculated. “Info -> Personal notes” and “Alliance notes” give the opportunity to thoughts to be written down and shared with friends.
Premium plan: Displays the numerous paid extras IO offers to all our players. You don’t want to miss that button.
Settings: Helps for password to be changed or see the list of ignored players to be seen.
Logout: will close the IO page.
